Private Drawing Classes These classes are open to students grades 4 through 7 who are interested in improving their drawings skills. The focus of the class is not on how to draw specific objects, but on how to begin to see as an artist, as well as on how to use various tools of the trade, such as specific drawing pencils, blending stumps, etc. Students of any skill level are welcome, as I work to give specific, individualized attention to each student during class time, but students should have a desire to learn and a willing attitude before signing up. Pencil Portraits
If you'd like to commission a portrait of yourself, a loved one, a pet, or any other figure you'd like, you may do so. I can do as many as three, perhaps four subjects in one drawing, but I prefer to stick to one or two faces per picture. Cost goes up according to complexity and size, but the starting cost is $150. What I need from you before I begin is a high quality photo (which can be a hard copy or a digital copy) and any specifications you'd like to have met. I can use multiple photos to put together one picture, but if it becomes too complex, it may increase price.
Custom Paintings
You can also commission a painting, though I'm not accepting requests for painted portraits at this time. When my time becomes limited, it is harder to complete a painting commission, so during the school year I will only accept a few commissions. Price will vary according to size and difficulty.
Graphics
This can include a variety of things, but mainly things such as posters, flyers, t-shirt designs, website graphics and the like. All I need from you is the details of the event or subject of the graphic, and any helpful information that may help me capture the spirit or mood of the graphic. Any pictures you want included should be given to me in digital format and in as high resolution as possible. They also must be stock images, or images that you have taken or have express permission to use. Prices, once again, vary according to the type of graphic and the complexity of it.
Logos
When creating a logo for your business, event, group, or website, I work to create something that can be used in a variety of ways, such as in letterhead, as a website logo, in a website header, on t-shirts, etc. If you need a logo for a specific event or use, it is helpful to tell me how you will be using it so I can customize it to that.
With all of my services, I work to please, so I usually will stay in contact with you throughout the process, making sure that things are progressing in a way that pleases you. I will make minor changes for free, and will make major adjustments free the first time, but for an additional cost after that. Feel free to discuss with me what you do and don't like, however, because I want to make sure you get exactly what you want!
